About Olivier Laudus Design
The Founder
Born in Anderlecht in Belgium, Olivier trained as a haute cuisine chef but had always been interested in design. He moved to London in 1997, and worked as a model and food stylist, whereby developing a sharp flair for style, detail and design, before setting up his own business.
The Original Idea
The idea of creating a range of luxury wedding ring cushions came to Olivier Laudus in 2004 after he tried unsuccessfully to find one for his own wedding. It was then he decided to commission his own. The reaction, Olivier and his wife received from all who saw their ring cushion, convinced them to share this with others.
Five Years on ....
At the heart of the company remains the wedding ring cushion collection, which now forms part of the Olivier Laudus Signature Collection. The collection also features guestbooks, dolly bags and bridal jewellery. Each item comes with a luxurious complimentary presentation box and card stating its part of the Olivier Laudus Signature Collection confirming that Olivier has been personally involved in designing the pieces, including often also choosing the fabrics, beads and crystals used.
In addition to the Olivier Laudus Signature Collection, the online boutique also offers a range of impeccably designed bridal accessories including jewellery, bridal handbags, wedding tiaras, haircombs, flower & cake jewellery and wedding favours. Each product line is personally chosen by Olivier and he is constantly searching the globe to find new and exciting products to add to the range.
